Proposals of textile air distribution systems is based on the same physical principles as proposals of ducting made of any other material. Designers use the same mathematical relations and flow speeds. Local pressure losses of some of the parts can significantly differ from ducting made of hard materials. Their specification is the responsibility of the manufacturer. The only big difference in the proposals is the necessity to prevent areas with negative pressure, the so-called wakes, and to correct possible unevenness of the flows from ventilators. This is not a big problem in hard ducting, however, when it comes to fabric, vibrations could occur. The Air Tailor software locates corresponding risk locations in all distribution lines, even though assessing of some of the special impacts depends on the experience of the given users. The technician of Příhoda, s.r.o. inspect every system individually prior to releasing it for production.
